West Styles District

We are a family united together as one with a common passion for dance and spreading a message of empowerment among youths while having a unique charisma and matured mindset.

Strictly Dance Zone

Since establishing back in 2007, Strictly Dance Zone has evolved to a crew that’s now home to hundreds of dancers - a safe environment for every dancer to find their place in dance. We, as a crew, prioritise nurturing ourselves and each other to be better dancers so that we can be better together. Through the physically taxing training sessions to the suppers that follow after trainings, our crew has a bond that cannot be found outside of us. The sense of belonging, the laughters that makes us tear, the love we have for another is all a representation of the familial bond we have with each other because that’s what SDZ is -

a dance crew that’s family.

K-East

We aim to attract the audience with our vibrant, energetic, and unique concepts and performances. We are dancers with the passion to perform, a team who works as a unit, a family who is there for one another. We are K-East!!!

Style Groovaz Crew

Republic Polytechnic’s Hip Hop Interest Group, Style Groovaz Crew was formed by students with a passion for Hip-hop in 2004. Hip Hop and B-Boy techniques are taught to the dancers and not only that, the dancers also get to study and understand the origins and the cultures of Hip Hop. They are also exposed to other forms of genres such as Dancehall, Open, Litefeet and many more.

The crew runs by the motto “One Crew, One Love”. They hone their craft to be student choreographers and have a diverse alumni body who are happy to share their knowledge in different genres.

Some of the achievements that they have received are being second-runner-up in the 2016 edition of Super 24, Champions in the 2017 edition of Super 24 and Top 5 in the 2018 edition of Super 24. They have also attained placings for the Asian University Competition in 2016, The Lion City Throwdown 2016, and various other battles.

TPDE

Temasek Polytechnic Dance Ensemble (TPDE) is a big family where dancers from all walks of life come together to share their same passion - Dance.

Our goal is to fundamentally improve in terms of dance and techniques, as well as train the club to become professional dancers that are well-exposed to the dance scene both locally and globally.

We work towards being versatile dancers. In TPDE, we challenge ourselves to constantly learn and improve, with the guidance of everyone around us.
